Searching for Squirrels!

Our new house has lots of trees and wildlife!! We didn't have many squirrels at our old house, and the kids have been fascinated by them!! We have a big picture window upstairs, and they have loved looking out of it and finding the squirrels. Our 8 pound terrior mix has enjoyed it, too. Although she tries to act like she's going to attack them...yeah right!

A New House

We finally sold our house in little 'ole Liberty, and moved to the big city of ANDERSON! It was bittersweet, but I'm loving it...I'm only 5 minutes from work and we're so close to everything. I no longer spend over an hour and a half in the car each day. It's amazing how much time I save each day, and how much more time I get to spend with my kids!!

Jarrod's commute is also shorter believe it or not. He just hops on the interstate, and he can usually make it to work in about 35-40 minutes. Much better than the 45-60 minute commute from Liberty.

We also gained a whole lot more space! We were busting at the seams in our old house. Now, I have a bonus room and a place to put all the TOYS!! We also have a guest room with it's own full bathroom, so you're all invited to come and stay!

Potty Training

WOW! I thought I had this Mommy thing somewhat figured out until I had to start potty training my 3 year old!! GOOD GRIEF!! This is one of the hardest things I've ever done! MacKenzie Grace isn't going to do anything until she's good and ready...I have no idea where she gets that from...probably her Daddy!! :) Well, we're making some progress over the past month. She does pee in the potty now! But the other...not so much! Poor thing...she's made her tummy hurt because she won't go! She also does so much better at school then she does at home. She'll go all day at school, and not have any accidents. As soon as she gets home...accident!! It must be ME!! Well, if Mason is potty trained before MacKenzie, I wouldn't be surprised!

If anyone has any suggestions, I'll take them...but I really think I've tried EVERYTHING!

Patience is a virtue...and I'm learning how to be more patient each and everyday with parenthood!

Entering the World of Blogging

OK...I've decided to enter the world of blogging. SCARY...I know! We'll see how this goes...

Maybe I'll be better at this than I am at scrapbooking or keeping up with sending updated pictures to my mom!!

I'm not making any bets that I'll be good at this or even be good at keeping up with it. I'm a working Mom with 2 kids that are 19 months apart...I don't have time to do much of anything! BUT, we'll give it a try...ENJOY!

I'll eventually get pictures downloaded. I have to get them off the camera first!! :)
