We decided LONG AGO that we would celebrate MacKenzie's 5th birthday in Disney World since my mom lives only about 15 miles from the parks. However, we made the very bad decision to tell the kids about it WAY too early. So, after months of planning (and waiting) we finally made it to Florida for our Disney Vacation! The kids have been so excited so I was a little nervous since we decided to drive this time, but surprisingly both kids did really well. We got to Mom's and John's in about 9 hours after 2 potty breaks and 1 lunch break...not too bad with 2 that are potty trained and have to pee every 5 minutes!! :)
We visited our first park on Sunday and decided to go to Hollywood Studios. We had never been there before, so it was a first for all of us. Just to see my children's expressions and reactions to all the fun was priceless. We were able to see a lot of shows including a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse play, a Little Mermaid show, a Beauty and the Beast show, an Indian Jones stunt show and a cars stunt show which was unbelievable! The kids were also able to see a lot of characters including Mickey Mouse, The Incredibles, Buzz Lightyear and Woody, Mike and Sully from Monsters, Inc., Handy Manny, and the Little Einsteins.
We all had soooo much fun and we still have 3 more parks to go!
After 1 day of fun...MacKenzie and Mason were both pooped!!
