Clemson Fan Appreciation Day

So this is a REALLY late post, but we took the kids to Clemson's fan appreciation day about a month ago. They had a great time meeting all the football players and getting autographs. Mason was speechless seeing them...it was almost like he couldn't believe they were real.

We even made the front page of the Anderson Independent AGAIN!! Here are some of my favorite pics from the day.

Before going in...and before all the autographs on their flags...

With Jamie Harper...

With Andre Ellington...

This guy's name is Michael Council!!

I have no idea who he is...but he's kinda cute!

This is Mason Cloy & Mason Councill was totally freaked out by him!

MacKenzie was lovin' this!

I can't believe I'm meeting the REAL Clemson Tigers!

Homework Night Begins Again!

Mason has the same 3K teacher that MacKenzie had, which means Mason now has weekly homework. He's so excited that he gets to do homework just like his sister!! Last week started the "A" homework. A is for apples, apple juice, airplane and adirondack chair!

Our Latest & Greatest Project...

A couple of weekends ago, I got a wild hair and decided I was ready to re-do our dining room. It's the one last room we had to "finish" or complete in our house to bring up-to-date. My table and chairs were hand-me-downs which have served us great, but I was finally ready to have something of my own. We have a great china cabinet that Jarrod's parents had given us, but it's been very difficult to "match" it up with a table and chairs. So, after a couple of days of trying to find a dining room table that matched, we kinda stumpled upon Wood You furniture store which has unfinished furniture that you stain yourself. It's pretty reasonable and we found something that was perfect for what we needed. Better yet, they were able to find a stain that was pretty close to the same color as our china cabinet. The only problem...Jarrod and I had never stained furniture before and we had NO IDEA what a project it would turn into. After MANY long days and late nights, we are FINISHED! I'm pleased with how it turned out, but I'll probably never do it again!! HA!
