Weekend Update

Antibiotics work wonders!! MacKenzie and Mason are both feeling A LOT better...thank goodness! And since Mason is feeling more like himself, it's been a little easier to give him his medicine...although it still takes a lot of convincing and bribing.

We ended up having a pretty good weekend. We took the kids to the Clemson basketball game on Saturday where we ended up having FANTASTIC seats (the closest I've ever sat at a game) that we paid face value for. We were actually pretty lucky since some dude wanted to charge Jarrod WAY over face value for them and the place was PACKED...even for the East Carolina game...go figure! I guess that's what happens when we have a basketball team that's actually...good! Oh yeah...and Clemson won!! MacKenzie even got to meet some of the Clemson cheerleaders which completely made her day. Mason was having a ball watching The Tiger and yelling "Go Tigers"! He had all the people around us laughing. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures even though I had my camera with me. It was just a bit crowded and hectic so I never even got it out.

Today we had a GREAT church service and a lazy day watching football. It FINALLY quit raining long enough for us to get outside for a few minutes and play on the playground. I know I shouldn't complain about the rain, since Lake Hartwell is more like a pond, but ever since we got the playground it's rained like 90 percent of the time!! Oh well!

Too bad we have to go back to the "ole grindstone" tomorrow, but I'm so thankful the kids are feeling better! Here are just some silly pictures that I took this weekend...
